Drivefidence Driving School Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Drivefidence Driving School. By using our website, booking a driving lesson or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings

  • Driving lessons can be booked through the Drivefidence platform. A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and confirmation has been issued.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate contact details, postcode and pickup address when booking.

2. Lesson Prices & Payment

  • Lesson prices are displayed at the time of booking and may vary between instructors.
  • Payment must be made through the available payment method unless otherwise agreed.
  • Drivefidence reserves the right to change prices, services and availability.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Learners must provide their instructor with at least 48 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson.
  • Where less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, the lesson may be charged in full and may not be eligible for a refund.
  • Exceptions may be considered at the instructor’s discretion in genuine emergencies.
  • Where an instructor cancels a lesson, the lesson should be rescheduled or, where applicable, refunded.

4. Learner Requirements

  • Learners must:
  • Hold a valid provisional or full driving licence appropriate for the lesson.
  • Meet all legal requirements for driving in the UK.
  • Be fit and legally able to drive.
  • Follow reasonable safety instructions given by their instructor.
  • Provide accurate booking and contact information.
  • An instructor may refuse to provide a lesson if they reasonably believe the learner is not legally or safely able to drive.

5. Driving Safety

  • Learners must follow their instructor’s reasonable safety instructions throughout the lesson.
  • An instructor may stop a lesson if they reasonably believe that continuing would be unsafe.

6. Driving Tests

  • Booking driving lessons does not guarantee that a learner will pass their driving test.
  • Learners are responsible for ensuring they meet the requirements for their driving test and for booking their test unless their instructor has specifically agreed to assist with this.

7. Instructor Allocation

  • Drivefidence provides a platform through which learners can find and book driving instructors.
  • Instructor availability, prices, vehicles, service areas and services offered may vary.
  • Where applicable, additional terms agreed between the learner and individual instructor may also apply.
  • Drivefidence reserves the right to remove reviews or other content that breaches these requirements.

8. Refunds

  • Refunds will be handled in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy and UK consumer law.
  • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

9. Website & Booking Platform

  • Drivefidence aims to keep its website and booking platform accurate and available but cannot guarantee that the platform will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • We reserve the right to update, suspend or modify parts of the website or services where reasonably necessary.

10. Personal Information

  • Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Trademark

  • Drivefidence Driving School is a registered UK trademark.
  • UK Trademark Number: UK00004012301
  • Unauthorised use, reproduction or imitation of the Drivefidence Driving School name, branding, logo or other protected intellectual property is prohibited.

12. Intellectual Property

  • All website content, branding, logos, graphics, text and other materials belonging to Drivefidence are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • You must not copy, reproduce, modify or commercially use Drivefidence content without prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • Drivefidence will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
  • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

14. Changes to These Terms

  • Drivefidence may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website.

15. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
